TRINITY MOCK TRIAL

Trinity Mock Trial is the official competitive mock trial team of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. As a nationally ranked program, we compete annually in the American Mock Trial Association's (AMTA) collegiate circuit. 

Mock trial is designed to simulate the litigation of a real legal case in a courtroom setting. At the beginning of each season, teams receive a fictional case from the American Mock Trial Association, including witness affidavits, case law, and exhibits. These cases alternate between civil and criminal matters. Students take on the roles of attorneys and witnesses, representing either the plaintiff/prosecution, or the defense, in trials against other universities.
